Everything about this eatery is better than any other I’ve tried in Beirut (Amir, Boustan, Basha, Adonis), and I’ve tried a lot. I used a voucher from a flier to try a shawarma pita trio at a restaurant.
The shawarma was delicious, with a large serving of seasoning and wonderful side dishes like lefet. Delicious pan-fried potatoes with a hefty dollop of fresh garlic sauce were the star of the show.
How many places have Diet Doctor Pepper on the menu? — a beverage that I ordinarily wouldn’t even mention.
The only thing I would change is the temperature of the meal. It wasn’t chilly, but it also wasn’t blazing hot either.
The area is immaculately clean, light, and open despite the fact that the service is swift. It’s great to work with people who can communicate in more than one language.
I appreciate that they serve their diners on actual dishes and cutlery. My experience there was so positive that I inquired about the possibility of using a second voucher to get a mixed plate to go.
It’s normally against the one coupon per visit guideline, the counter guy cringed and said, but he’d consult the owner… who said alright.
If I’m going to get takeaway after eating a full meal, I’m clearly a fan of the cuisine.

I’m overjoyed that a fantastic shishtaouk restaurant has opened up close to my house. They have the poorest flesh and leave you with a nasty aftertaste in your mouth and stomach.
Meat is real meat, and the potatoes are small enough that you won’t get your teeth stuck in a raw one. The garlic sauce and the hummus are excellent.
They even blend pitas, which is unusual because it is not available in most locations. The cost of a sandwich is $4.00. For only $4, I’m not sure what else you can get, but I think it’s pricey!

Like everyone else who has written about it, I was blown away. Prior to the lockdown, I visited the restaurant and found it to be a wonderful atmosphere with excellent service and an impressive cuisine.
I recall the drinks and the wine being excellent as well.. When we went, we ordered the tasting menu, which is ideal for first-time diners because it allows you to sample practically everything on the menu.
Fresh pita bread and raw kibbeh, which came at the table hot and fresh like a fluffy, carby pillow, were my favorites (and yes, we requested extra and it was kindly given).
Smokey and cooked to perfection, the grilled meals were delicious. Be prepared to pack a big appetite if you decide to try the tasting menu; it is pricey, but the amount of food you receive is astoundingly generous.

This 5-star review must have appeared in my mind years ago, so I’m delighted I checked and posted it today! Having a hankering for Boustan at all hours of the day and night is not unusual for me (and I’m sure I’m not the only one).
But this review isn’t only to praise the quality of the cuisine;
It’s also a way to commend the staff’s dedication to their jobs, since many of them work long hours and are frequently on their feet nonstop (there can be people in line for long stretches and then they have to be ready for the next wave).
With all due respect, it is admirable and difficult to have a good disposition when doing this on a daily basis.
To that end, I’d want to express my gratitude and commend you on maintaining your original site, which has served both residents and visitors for so long.

It was actually better without it. Because we previously had the fattouche, we didn’t order the salad. If stew is your thing, then the braised lamb is for you. It was the spicy sampler that won me over.
The flavor is mild, at least to my taste. The shish taouk was my favorite of the three meats. A spicy powder-coated pita bread slice is also included in the sampler.
That, too, was excellent. It looks like IGA/pita metro’s bread, but it’s warm and fresh, and it’s not from the store.

During the New Year’s trip, I happened to stumble into this eatery, which was serving hummus and falafel. Although the plates are little, the craftsmanship is outstanding! The pine nut hummus was really creamy. I highly suggest it.
Olive oil is drizzled over everything, and the house-baked bread is a requirement for truly enjoying the flavors of each meal.
Fresh off the fryer, the falafel wasn’t too big or too little; it was just what I was looking for. With the fatoush salad, for example, even those who aren’t fans of mint will come around to like it.
Overall, the meal was excellent, and the service was fine, but don’t expect it to be completely silent. Would return to have the hummus again any time!

The eatery is nestled away in an almost basement-like nook. Not immediately apparent, but not impossible to overlook either.
It’s a popular spot, so make a reservation in advance; there are only 30 seats, and it was already packed when we went on a Wednesday night.
They managed to get 12 people in, although I’m sure they called ahead and booked reservations.
The brick wall, the Middle Eastern music, and the quaint decor all contribute to this restaurant’s allure. Traditional Lebanese cuisine is served, and all of the meat on the menu is halal.
Although there are a few vegetarian options, the menu is primarily comprised of animal dishes.
On behalf of a trio dining together, I selected the Shish Taouk Chili, the Kebab Kash Kash, the Sojok, and the Garlic Potatoes.
Especially with the free pita bread, all of this was more than enough. Every meal was delicious, and I’d happily eat it again if given the chance. We paid $20 per person, including taxes and gratuity, for the experience.

It was a mix of chicken and beef shawarma with Garlic Potatoes and Rice, along with Salad and Hummus, as well as a Magic Poutine instead of conventional fries.
