The largest terrasse party in Montreal is happening this weekend
If you haven’t signed up to attend the second annual Montreal Terrasse Party, we strongly advise you do so as this is the event to go to if you want to meet some truly exceptional entrepreneurs.
In the last few years, the trend of rooftop bars has taken off in Montreal, and everyone wants to experience what it’s like up there.
So why not bring together all the best rooftop bars in one place this Saturday and Sunday? Check out the party lineups below.
The largest terrasse party in Montreal is happening this weekend
5,000 people are expected to attend this waterfront pop-up music event, which is free to attend.
Join the Saint-Jean festivities on the banks of Lachine Canal! There will be live music, local craftsmen, food and drink, and more at Les Guinguettes du SudOuest festival in Parc de l’Ancienne-cour-de-triage in Nantes from June 23 to 26, 2017.
As there are so many free things to do in Montreal this summer, you may as well make the most of this urban festival haven by attending for free.
There’s nothing like a good terrasse in Montreal to please the locals. It’s hard to match this one in a city known for its vast newbeer gardens, secret rooftop pubs, and instagram-friendly patios.
On the banks of the Lachine Canal overlooking the lake, you’ll find colorful terraces, lounge chairs, and a family-friendly area.
Live performances, DJs, dancing lessons, magicians, and more await you throughout the day and night. As long as you keep your dog on a leash, you’re welcome to visit.
At the Tropical Market, you’ll be able to buy locally manufactured, environmentally friendly, and sometimes (gourmet) handcrafted goods, such as jewelry, apparel, and croissants, from around 20 Quebec artisans.
Check out one of eight waterfront food stalls, including last year’s mega-hit Merci Tâta, for something to eat (think: house sangria, vegan cheeseburgers and churros).
The only thing left to do is party till the early hours of the morning under the twinkling lights.

Conclusion
This is not a party with a theme. It is a party that anyone and everyone can enjoy. It has no particular food or drink menu. It has no particular band or DJ. It has no particular dress code.
It is a party that is inclusive, accepting, and open to all. I highly recommend you attending. You will meet new friends, enjoy great food, and find a reason to celebrate.
