The Best Brunches in Montreal: our suggestions
Pavillon 67
Address: 1 Avenue du Casino Niveau 5 Pavillon la France Montreal, QC H3C 4W7

After winning $170 on the slot machines, I took my husband out to his favorite buffet. Lol.
We had the choice of dining à la carte or at the buffet at this restaurant, and because we were in the mood to overindulge, we went with the buffet.
There is a romantic feel to the atmosphere in this room. It’s cozy, softly lighted, and quiet. We were seated right close to the kitchen, so we were able to see the cooks at work via a window.
Our server was really pleasant and attentive, which is always a plus when it comes to service.
Everything was fine when it came to the meal. They didn’t offer a lot of options (maybe because I’m so accustomed to buffets in Vegas).
Small sections for fish and poultry, and a dessert bar were available at the soup/salad station. Only the dessert was a hit with my husband and me.
The Ritz-Carlton Montreal
Address: 1228 Sherbrooke St West Montréal, QC H3G 1H6
Website: http://www.ritzcarlton.com/en/hotels/canada/montreal
Phone: (514) 842-4212
The Palm Court of the Ritz Carlton hotel is where I’ve had high afternoon tea on four separate occasions. The location is awe-inspiring.
The seating area has been tastefully arranged and is well-lit. It’s just stunning! Exceptional quality of service. Everyone from the doorman to the host, to the waiter, to the bartender, is kind and helpful.
Maison Boulud
Address: 1228 Rue Sherbrooke O Montreal, QC H3G 1G2
Website: http://www.ritzcarlton.com/en/hotels/canada/montreal/dining/maison-boulud
Phone: (514) 842-4224
It’s the Ritz Carleton, after all. It’s a nice outdoor dining area, with beautiful views and excellent service. To begin with, there was baguette and then there was pizza-like bread, both of which were delicious and distinctive.
The gazpacho was delicious and refreshing. Veggie-packed salads from the garden were the order of the day for my husband.
Afterwards, he enjoyed a superb salmon tartare, while I enjoyed a light and flavorful dish of zucchini pasta with saffron sauce.
Strawberry shortcake with strawberry sorbet was a work of art for dessert. They gave us a lovely Madeline basket on our wedding anniversary.
Renoir
Address: 1155 Rue Sherbrooke O Montreal, QC H3A 2N3
Website: http://fr.restaurant-renoir.com/
Phone: (514) 788-3038
Trying to find a place to have lunch with a loved one? Renoir’s lunch special is exceptional. The price is really fair for the quality and amount of meals given!
The meal costs $36 and includes an appetizer, entrée, side dish, dessert, and coffee or tea. There was a wide variety of lunch alternatives for everyone, including meat eaters, vegetarians, and pescatarians.
My starter was Beef Tartare, which was delicious. The serving was enormous and could have easily served as a main course. Matchstick fries and crunchy capers accompany it. We thoroughly enjoyed the tartare’s flavorful seasoning.
InterContinental Montréal
Address: 360 Rue Saint-Antoine O Montreal, QC H2Y 3X4
Website: http://montreal.intercontinental.com/fr/
Phone: (514) 987-9900
Excellent access to downtown Montreal. The conference center and a slew of eateries are just a short walk away.
I stayed in a room on the 22nd story, however it didn’t have a great view. For two people, the space is a little tight, but for one, it’s OK. There is a tiny tub and a shower in each of the restrooms.
Although the wifi is free, the speed is lacking. At the lobby level, they serve a fantastic breakfast buffet. Food and service are excellent at this restaurant.
Sofitel Montreal Golden Mile
Address: 1155 Rue Sherbrooke Ouest Montreal, QC H3A 2N3
Website: http://www.sofitel.com
Phone: (514) 285-9000
It was a bright and sunny start to our day after a peaceful night’s sleep. The gym has state-of-the-art equipment and a relaxing sauna for after-workout relaxation.
After working out, it was time to take a shower for the second time in as many days. If you’re staying at the Sofitel Montreal Golden Mile for the weekend, don’t miss out on a Sunday brunch at the Renoir Restaurant.
An excellent way to finish a weekend of relaxation and companionship.
Buffet des Continents
Address: 7200 Boulevard Taschereau Brossard, QC J4W
Phone: (450) 672-1099
Everything you’d expect from a buffet. The meal was of a poor quality. The staff at every station went above and beyond to make sure you had a positive experience.
I was hoping for a little bit more for the weekends, but the options all looked to be rather similar. So, rather than shelling out more money for a few extra prawns, I propose going for lunch instead.
Auberge du Vieux Port
Address: 97 Rue de la Commune E Montreal, QC H2Y 1J1
Website: http://www.aubergeduvieuxport.com/
Phone: (514) 876-0081
We opted to stay at the Auberge Du Vieux Port hotel again because we had such a wonderful experience there last year. We adore the place.
It’s a unique experience to stay at this odd, yet cozy, place. Lara, the hotel’s concierge, once again went above and beyond to help us. Lara, thank you.
There are polite and helpful staff members at the motel. The breakfast on Sunday is fantastic! We sipped cocktails and spoke with hotel guests and locals at the hotel’s bar.
Definitely check out Auberge Du Vieux Port, a lovely old-world inn that’s located in a terrific position.
It’s our recommendation that you sample their daily breakfast.
Address: 900 Rue de la Gauchetière O Montreal, QC H5A 1E4
Website: http://hotelbonaventure.com/fr
Phone: (514) 878-2332
As part of my involvement with CANN, I gave a presentation outlining my work in the field of neuroscience nursing. It worked out well! In addition, the hotel’s meals were delectable! Every course of the meal is included in the price
The waiters and waitresses were all friendly and helpful. My uber journey was aided by the doormen, who were quite courteous. I had a fantastic time:-D
Vieux-Port Steakhouse
Address: 39 Rue Saint Paul E Montreal, QC H2Y 1G2
Website: http://vieuxportsteakhouse.com/fr/
Phone: (514) 866-3175
A wonderful dinner was enjoyed by everybody! Cooked well, the steaks had an excellent flavor and texture. Fillet mignon was a melt-in-your-mouth experience for me. Definitely worth a shot.
Cinéma Moderne
Address: :5150 St Laurent Blvd, Montreal, QC H2T 1R8
Website: https://www.instagram.com/p/BxXnmvngmLV/
Phone: 514-282-2087
Mile End is now home to a Combo Cinema-Café. In addition to being a cinema, it also has a posh café.

Lloydie’s
Address: 2145 Crescent St, Montreal, QC H3G 2C1

At a reasonable price, you may get a taste of traditional Caribbean cuisine.
Traditional Jamaican fare such as Ackee & Saltfish and other hybrids such jerk pork hash and coconut French toast may be found at Lloydie’s for Sunday brunch.
Punch or tropical Bellini drinks are a great way to wash it all down. (Only on Saturdays, the Crescent location serves brunch.)

Brasserie T!

Website: https://www.instagram.com/p/BmuBW2ujZKn/

Jiao
Address: 399 Notre-Dame St W, Montreal, QC H2Y 1V2
Website: https://www.instagram.com/p/BtoGpkpgPxt/
Phone: 514-543-3148
The brunch menu at Jiao, an Old Montreal dim sum bar, is one of the most interesting in recent memory.
Rather than the typical dim sum fare, the bar’s take on General Tao and red velvet waffle dough is used to make a morning jiaozi dumpling, a chicken and waffle dish using the bar’s take on General Tao and red velvet waffle dough, or a breakfast banh min.
Pikeos
Address: 4293 Notre-Dame St W, Montreal, QC H4C 1R7
Website: http://www.pikeosmtl.com/
Phone: 514-500-8788
For the past few months, Pikeos has been a bright spot in the St-Henri neighborhood, serving up its first taste of Nikkei cuisine (a Japanese-Peruvian fusion).
In addition to Peruvian staples like chicken and waffles, the Sunday brunch menu now has a variety of dishes with Latin American influences, such as chicharrón and a sweet yucca dish.

Address: 244 St Jacques St, Montreal, QC H2Y 1L9
Website: https://www.instagram.com/p/BwZ-3zHHhcB/
Phone: 514-289-9996
Ex-Olive & Gourmando chef Michael Tozzi is in charge, and the restaurant’s name implies that he wants to provide guests with a sophisticated dining experience.
It’s no surprise that Dandy’s brunch menu is packed with sophisticated staples like ricotta pancakes and latkes with eggs and smoked salmon, but also less clichéd alternatives like a fried chicken sandwich, or boudin, for those who want their food less greasy.
Restaurant Basterd
Address: 260 Rue Gary-Carter, Montréal, QC H2R 0B2
Website: https://www.instagram.com/p/BvW2mJiAhoK/
Phone: 514-419-2006
When it comes to weekend brunches, Basterd in Villeray, Quebec, keeps things familiar with pancakes and eggs benedict but throws in a few surprises by dishing customers tourtière, which is really rather brunch-friendly, or even a breakfast pogo with spicy maple syrup!

Address: 5201 Boulevard Saint-Laurent Montréal QC H2T 1S4
Website: http://www.lawrencemtl.com/larrys
Phone: 514-503-1070
The newest addition to Marc, Ethan, Annika, and Sefi’s lineup, who also operate Lawrence restaurant, is Larry’s, a Mile End brunch institution.

Located in the heart of Old Montreal, Olive and Gourmando has been dishing you delicious meals since 1997!
There is a lively café at the former little bakery counter, which is well-known for its delicious baked pastries and brunch menu.
The Poached Egg On Your Face Panini and the French Toast are two of our favorite brunch items.
The famous Olive and Gourmando is a nice place to stop for a bite to eat while taking in the sights of the surrounding area, but be prepared to wait a few minutes. There is no doubt about that.

Website: http://restolavenue.ca

What about a SEVENTH star? As of right now, this is my absolute favorite brunch location on the earth!!
To my horror, I had to wait an hour each time I went to the store on a long weekend trip (weekend and weekday). However, the wait was totally worth it!
The meal is delicious, the quantities are substantial, and the service is excellent! How can you ask for anything more?
Looking for a great place to start your day? This is it! Make the most of it, you won’t be sorry! It’s time to get moving! You’ll thank me later.
Universel
Address: 2055 Rue Peel Montreal, QC H3A 1V4 Canada
Phone: (514) 840-7136
During my visit to Montreal, I was looking for a place to have breakfast quickly and conveniently.
There was plenty of room for our party and the restaurant was immaculately clean. As the number of cases rose, I liked the separation between consumers they maintained.
Extensive breakfast and lunch menu with all of your favorite items. Only eggs benedict was on the menu, and it was accompanied by fruit and potatoes for breakfast.
The eggs benedict had a little too much vinegar in it for my taste. The potatoes for breakfast were tasty as well, and the serving size was excellent for the price.
We were fortunate enough to be placed in a booth with a plug, allowing us to charge both our phones and our tummies at the same time.
Pikolo
Address: 3418 B Avenue du Parc Montreal, QC H2X 2H5 Canada
Website: http://pikoloespresso.com/fr/
Phone: (514) 508-6800
On a Friday morning, I popped in for a cup of joe with a pal. Lucky for us, there was enough room for everyone.
When we asked for assistance, the barista was more than happy to oblige. Everything was ready in a timely manner, and the price was reasonable.
The beverages were excellent, as was the atmosphere, and the staff was outstanding. The availability of dairy-free choices was also a plus for me. Definitely give this place a chance!
L’Oeufrier
Address: 1231 Rue de la Montagne Montreal, QC H3G 1Z2 Canada
Website: https://www.loeufrier.ca
Phone: (438) 387-8271
Two eggs, two sausages, two bacon, handmade bread, creton, baked beans, and deep-fried hashbrowns are all part of the “Je Me Souvien” breakfast.
It was time to slather on some maple syrup. You can’t go wrong with this dish. If the hashbrowns had been grilled with onions instead of deep-fried, this would have been a perfect breakfast.
Café St-Barth
Address: 3500 Avenue du Parc Montreal, QC H2X 2H7 Canada
Website: http://cafesaintbarth.business.site/
Phone: (514) 303-8866
The perfect start to the day. Affordability is a plus. Everything has just been created. I’d say go for it. The sesame bagel with avocado toast was my favorite item on the menu.
La Finca
Address: 1067 Rue de Bleury Montreal, QC H2Z 1N1 Canada
Website: http://www.lafinca.ca
Phone: (514) 903-8911
Breakfast and lunch are served in a warm and inviting atmosphere at this little cafe. If you’re a morning person who can’t get out of bed in time for breakfast at most other restaurants in the area, this one is for you.
When we arrived at approximately 9:15 this morning, it appeared to be in full swing.
We had dalh soup and yoghurt/granola for breakfast, which we had at home. We sat at the rear after the vaccine check since it was more peaceful there.
They used to have a lot more seating at the rear of the shop, but now they have a nice display of items from local and other manufacturers (e.g. sauces, meal prep packages, fancy tea, almonds).
Fabergé
Address: 25 Avenue Fairmount O Montreal, QC H2T 2L9
Website: http://faberge514.com
Phone: (514) 903-6649
When looking for a good spot to have a good brunch in the Mile End, this establishment was a solid choice.
As a fan of COVID, I felt the seats to be a little snug. Although nothing special, the food was nonetheless decently prepared for a brunch of this caliber.
Sparrow
Address: 5322 Boulevard Saint-Laurent Montreal, QC H2T 1A5
Website: http://www.lesparrowbar.com

For breakfast, try the banh mi. There’s no better way to describe it. I also like the peach bellini. Exceptional workers.
Our meal was delivered quickly to our table (quicker than our cold brew even). The best breakfast in town! I’d love to relive every moment of my life.
Le Butterblume
Address: 5836 Boulevard Saint-Laurent Montreal, QC H2T 1T3
Website: http://www.lebutterblume.com

Because it’s so filling and delicious, I can never have enough of the restaurant’s ravioli soup.

Website: http://barleybar.ca
Phone: (514) 379-6455
