Website: http://www.joebeef.ca/
Phone: (514) 935-6504
Our meal at Joe Beef was one of the highlights of our trip. Food and service were excellent at this restaurant. The ambiance is pleasant, and Lily, our server, was outstanding.
The steak was delicious, as was the night’s special of fried rice. We enjoyed the oysters as well, but wished we had more appetites or company to sample other meals!
We can’t wait to go back here again when we’re next in Montreal, and we highly suggest it.
Gus

Website: http://restaurantgus.com/

To be honest, when asked what makes a meal at Gus thrilling, I have no idea.
Because of who you’re eating with, the unplanned discussions you’ll have with other diners, and David Ferguson (chef/owner/proud father/amazing instructor).
And Josh (at the Grill). Ciaran (using his charm), and the team that prepare/cook/serve you with all their might and soul.
Having a date night in mind? Watch it all come together like a symphony while you’re sitting at the bar. Lastly, don’t miss out on the steak and seafood!
Mucca
Address: 236 Rue Saint-Zotique E Montreal, QC H2S 1L1
Website: https://mucca.ca
Phone: (438) 375-3033
We spent a lovely day at Mucca with a buddy. Even though it had only been open a few days, the service, food, and ambiance were all up to par with what I’ve come to expect from any of my favorite dining establishments.
The food (which varies weekly) is simple yet appealing, and the wine selection, which comprises primarily biodynamic and natural wines, is well picked as well.
Two pasta dishes, an appetizer, and a dessert were all excellent choices for our meal.
As a result of Caleb, our server, the restaurant has a distinct personality that makes it stand out above others in Montréal.
I believe this eatery has the makings of a fantastic local hangout. If only I had a place to call home in that area!
Grinder
Address: 1708 Rue Notre-Dame O Montreal, QC H3J 1M3
Website: http://restaurantgrinder.ca/
Phone: (514) 439-1130
I was in the mood for a delicious steak. Located right in the middle of town. Street parking was scarce, but valet parking is available if necessary.
Getting about town is easy because to the abundance of public transportation options. Reservations are a necessity due to high demand. I had the steak with mushrooms and rappini on the side.
As a fan of rib steak, I requested it medium-rare. I loved how well done the meat was and how well seasoned it was. On the meat, the char can be tasted.
The mushrooms, which had been seasoned to perfection and served hot, made a tasty side dish for the steak. The rappini was disappointing since it was icy and tasteless. Because of the rappini, we were forced to return it.
Thé ambiance is a cheerful, energetic restaurant where you can enjoy delicious meals and a terrific atmosphere. Enjoy
Reuben’s Deli & Steakhouse
Address: 1116 Rue Sainte-Catherine Ouest Montreal, QC H3B 1H4
Website: http://www.reubensdeli.com
Phone: (514) 866-1029
Rueben’s Deli on St. Catherine West is our go-to spot whenever we’re in Montreal. Pastrami brisket, a classic Montreal smoked meat, is now a mainstay of the restaurant’s menu.
It was a busy Sunday night, so we went for the 10 oz. smoked pork sandwiches on rye on the menu.
It’s possible to obtain larger specimens, even supersized specimens, but this is merely an excessive amount of food. You can’t go wrong with french fries and a pickle.
Our waiter arrived promptly and was friendly, and he recommended a Canadian Lager from the tap list. The concept is sound.

Steakhouses like Cheval are few and far between in North America. It’s hard to forget the enormous grill. I dined alone at the var. on one occasion.
With two men, there was one occasion. A table for roughly 18 was set up once. It’s all good. It captivated me completely. The wonderful waiters will cater to your every want. Cheer on your beloved Boston Bruins!
