This sushi joint appeals to me since the menu items are interesting and distinct from the usual fare. Creative sushi dish choices aren’t the only thing that sets these eateries apart from others.

It’s a must to sample their Christmas tree on a cracker. I’ve only gotten takeout from the restaurant so far, but I can’t wait to go back when it reopens for dine-in service.

It’s often difficult to obtain a table at Kazu since the wait is so lengthy!

Getting my hands on their delectable Chirashi Zushi is now easier thanks to the restaurant’s limited menu of takeaway and delivery choices (salmon and tuna sashimi served with salad and rice).

The vinaigrette on the salad is so flavorful that I nearly preferred it to the sashimi..:slightly tangy and somewhat sweet. This is a must-try for sure!

There were no issues with the food’s quality. For our anniversary meal, my partner and I went to Jun I. We made a reservation at Omakase a few days in advance.

The management didn’t make it obvious that they don’t allow face-to-face connection with the chef, which is an essential aspect of omakase, so there may have been some misunderstanding.

Even though we had a misunderstanding, we continued our supper as planned. The dinner was excellent and just what we had hoped for. It was Tako and Gindara Amazake that were my favorite dishes. I really like the sushi.

As a result of a group of rowdy college students who had taken over a nearby table, the din in the restaurant had become unbearable.

It was our anniversary when we phoned to make a reservation and when we arrived at the restaurant, however the waitress wrote “Happy Birthday” instead of “Happy Anniversary” on the dessert.

I had a sushi plate delivered for two people. Tax and gratuity are included in the price of $250. The sushi on this dish is clearly fresh and put together with care..

4 stars because it’s costly, but it’s fresh and excellent. Sushi for two people, a substantial dish. All of the sashimi was delicious, save for the white fish with the silver skin.

The nigiris were a treat as well. However, the makis didn’t quite measure up to expectations. I’ll probably get sashimis only next time, with additional toro:).

The only thing missing from our meal is a side of rice, which they don’t appear to offer.

So this was the first time I’d been back since the restaurant had reopened. It’s not far from where I used to live. Parking might be a problem, but the sushi is worth it.

Large parties may have difficulty fitting inside the venue because it appears to be on the smaller side. My favorite meal at the restaurant was the octopus salad, but it was no longer on the menu.

We purchased a variety of rolls, including specialized rolls and normal rolls. Those gyoza dumplings were the greatest I had ever tasted. The sashimi of meat was excellent.

The Kama was my favorite roll. Second time’s the charm.
Fast and speedy service. As always, the price was excellent. Also, you can’t go wrong with bringing your own wine.

Kinka is a personal favorite of mine. Even though I’m unhappy that the Kakimayo (baked oyster) isn’t available to visitors from my home province of Ontario, it was still a good experience.

Everything we got was wonderful, including the sushi salad, karaage, unagi bibimbap, Kimchi-Udon, and a few more items. All of the waiters were excellent!

Make a reservation at Nozy if you’re looking for affordable, high-quality sashimi in a relaxed setting.

There is a teishoku type lunch at Nozy, which means little dishes of food. Salad and soup are included with each major entrée. We decided to split the sashimi dish to make it more fun.

On the menu, you’d find everything from white tuba to red snapper to himachi as well as toro and sea urchins. I’m delighted we went with the platter; it was a great value.

Such a welcome addition to the South-West dining scene.
The wine list, drinks, and small meals to share are all excellent choices.
Sharing plates is the best way to make sure you get to try everything.
I’m hoping the sashimis were brought out earlier in the course of the meal because they were still warm.
Skewers should not be omitted from a dish. Traditional and delicious.
Adding truffle mayo on the side of the fried chicken made the dish even better.
The blend of flavors in these smoked fish croquettes is superb.

The bone marrow ramen served with pork buns and ursin was a big success.
Surprisingly, the brussel sprouts were our favorite meal of the night. Almonds adorn this perfectly cripsy, sweet-and-sour treat.

The arrival of Hanzo Izakaya to Montreal’s usually “touristy” location is a welcome one. Despite this, it’s a must-see for residents if you’re in the neighborhood.

Fans of Kill Bill and Japanese cuisine will like the cool attitude and ambiance, which was heavily influenced by the film.

That said, I’ll be returning for the food. Kamo Yakitori (duck hearts), KFC (Konbini Fried Chicken), Sashimi, Edamame, and Spicy Gyoza were some of my favorites from my most recent visit.

With a Nago Bay cocktail, of course. Yuri and Yasmine were fantastic hosts, and we’d want to thank them.

This restaurant is one of my favorites! I had a wonderful supper because to the excellent quality of the fish.

Even though this is a little piece for the price, I am fine with it because I don’t eat much, but I’m sure it’s insufficient for others who do.

Also, there was a girl in the kitchen who was either not wearing a mask or was having a break. Even if COVID isn’t an option, I still don’t want to see someone in the kitchen without a mask.

I’m deducting a star for this, but I’m willing to give it another shot.

Door Dash, post-Covid-19, led me here. My favorite dish on the menu is the salmon poké bowl. All of my meals were freshly prepared, regardless of whether I had them picked up or delivered.

The portions are enormous, so you’ll get enough of food for your money.

However, the rice in my maki was so mushy that I was unable to complete it one time (and I hope it will be the last time). When I’ve tried their sushi and maki in the past, they’ve been excellent.

The quality/price ratio is the finest I’ve seen in Montreal when it comes to sushi, and the service is excellent. If you’re hosting a casual get-together, the chef plates are an excellent option. Their sashimi lunch special is my favorite.

When it comes to restaurants that provide take-out or delivery, we’re constantly on the lookout for places that do a good job. Kashima seals and labels all of the liquids and sauces in the dish, which is a nice touch.

This restaurant has never lost its appeal to us despite the fact that we used to eat there on a daily basis when indoor dining was still a thing.

Extraordinary care is taken to ensure that your meal is delivered without misunderstanding, problems, or “spillage” (the destroyer of any good take-out experience). As always, it was a treat.

I had almost given up hope of finding a nice sushi spot in Montreal after trying a number of highly rated restaurants in the past eight months.

In any case, my wife and her sister wanted to meet up on Peel Street after work the other night, so I figured I’d keep an eye out for them. I discovered Ryu for the first time thanks to a fast search on Yelp! Definitely not my last!

As you enter, you’re greeted by a stunning bar area that takes up much of the long and narrow room. Sets a contemporary mood with some nice house music.

When I came here for lunch on a workday last week, I had a wonderful experience.

First and foremost, the ambiance is fantastic; the design is truly one-of-a-kind, and the personnel were warm and welcoming.

Ordering 1-2 and expecting to be satisfied would be a mistake. We had 5 dishes to divide between two individuals, but we could have had two more.

A sampling of their offerings included sushi and fried food. Everything was delicious, fresh, and had a variety of flavors to choose from.

Because there wasn’t enough cheesecake flavor in the matcha cheesecake, I wasn’t a fan.

We paid a total of $25 apiece, including tax and tip.

I’d go back again and look forward to tasting other things on the menu.

Kyo has a really romantic atmosphere, with dark lighting and a wide variety of music. It seamlessly transitions from today’s biggest pop tunes to slower throwbacks of the past.

However, let’s get to the good stuff, the cuisine… The sushi was just what I was looking for at the time, thanks to the high quality of the fish. Everything was just right for the two of us to split.

We took a seat at the bar and began the evening with this tasty concoction. Seeing the bartender perform his magic and juggle all the bottles while creating our drink was entertaining. The whole night was made more fun by him!

We had several deep-fried rolls, a yellowtail cucumber roll, a salmon avocado roll, the California roll, and one more roll in our Chef’s Choice of Sushi variety.

We also had ebi tempura, which came with a light and airy fried. This was done to perfection with deep-fried food, which may be heavy and oily at times.

Finally, we had beignets with a berry sauce and a yuzu evaporated milk sauce as our final course. They were excellent.. Definitely a must-have!
