The filet minion and the double backed potato were both cooked to perfection! The meat was well prepared to my taste as well. Here, we had a wonderful meal.
Even if the tables are a touch too lengthy, the atmosphere within the restaurant is still really pleasant. A few red wines we tasted were not to our taste, hence the -0.5 points were given to the wine selection.
But the cuisine was fantastic, and we tasted the crème brûlée and the coffee and found them to be a perfect match.
If you’re searching for an excellent steakhouse, this is the place to go. Definitely make a reservation in advance!

In the heart of ancient Montreal, this is a fantastic restaurant! As we came, the servers greeted us and said farewell when we departed with a smile on their faces.
Italiano and Chicken Sandwiches were on the menu for us. Both dishes had an incredible flavor that I’d never experienced before. This is a hospitable establishment.

Everything from the service to the drinks to the meal to the ambiance was top-notch. We started our lunch with an old fashioned and a limonade chartreuse, two of the best cocktails we’ve ever had.
Although the patio is first come, first served, I recommend making a reservation because it is often fully occupied on weekends.

It’s hard not to enjoy a little piece of the old Montreal charm. Although the restaurant’s upper level is now available to the public, you’re still enclosed by a wall.
While we were there, a fantastic trio played some fantastic music. Nachos were the first course, and then the three of us decided to make our own lunches.
Some wine and a drink helped lift our spirits when we were down. The service was exceptional, as were the members of the wait staff.

Third time in Montreal and third time at this place…. For tonight’s review, I’m only considering the quality of the cuisine.
A complementary slice of bruschetta is served with each course. Because we don’t use alcohol, ice water will do just fine. Our water cups were empty, to our amazement.
Each of us had a pasta dish and the zuppa of the night. Everything tasted great. It was a letdown since our primary waiter provided just “so so” service.
Why does the temperature drop a few degrees if you don’t get beverages from the bar or a pricey bottle of wine? At a restaurant like Da Emma’s pricing point, we expect more.

I went to Le Cartet for my first breakfast in Montreal! We arrived around noon on a Friday and there was no line. The service was excellent and the meal arrived quickly.
We shared a smoothie, a duck confit benedict, and a grilled cheese sandwich with maple-glazed pulled pork. Despite the lack of eggs, the benedict was filled with lots of duck and a delicious Hollandaise sauce.
On the buttery toast, the maple-pulled pork was sweeter than I imagined, but it was still great, and the potato salad with dill in it was also tasty.
I was surprised by the size of the restaurant, which was more than I expected.

On a weekday, I came here to lunch on the patio. There’s a deal going on right now (happening gourmand) where you can get an entree and a main course for $25.
There are just three alternatives for each course, which is quite limiting. The trendy gourmet deal, from what I recall, used to include dessert, so this was a letdown.
We were able to eat outside because there was enough space between the tables. A face shield was all our waitress had, but no mask.
As a tourist destination in the old port, I believe waitstaff should be required to wear masks. This is the primary reason for my lower rating of 3.5 instead of 4.

Upstairs and Solmar, as well as a good Portuguese supper, if not in Lisbon itself, are the only options. Olive, bread, and olive oil are a wonderful place to start.
Properly cooked sardines take things to a whole new level. Guppies aren’t tinned, but fresh and juicy mid-sized swimmers.
A fellow diner thumped a rack of lamb on the table. The pork and clams to my left were an odd pairing, and I would opt for a redo without the clams if the opportunity arose.
The fish would probably keep me away from the Bacalao. An entree that was recommended by the waiter was good, but I should have chosen the evening’s whole fish dory instead.

Crew Café is the place to go if you’re searching for something that seems authentically “Old Montreal”. One of Montreal’s most stunning cafes, this is a must-visit.
Everything about the Royal Bank of Canada’s vast hall on St. Jacques Street, which has soaring golden ceilings and massive marble pillars and chandelles, exudes mystery and romance.
The Crew Cafe is a beautiful place to relax and have a cup of coffee or a pastry. A gorgeous, inspiring setting for work, play, and inspiration!

If you’re in the mood for authentic Indian food in a stylish setting, Gandhi is the place for you. There is a wonderful old building on St. Paul Street West that serves as a location for the restaurant.
The interior of the restaurant is bright, clean, and simple, and the service is equally attentive. The chef suggests the vegetarian meals, Korahi lamb, Korahi chicken, and tandoori, which are all on the menu.
Most of the foods on the menu are classic Indian fare, so chances are you’ve heard of them before.
Our second favorite trendy Indian restaurant in town is Gandhi.

In the heart of Old Montreal, you’ll find the charming bar Philémon.
The initial concept, according to owner Marc Beauchamp, was to build a bar where people could enjoy fine wine, delectable food, inventive cocktails, and everything else that makes life worth living.
Enjoy charcuterie and small plates meant to be shared at Philémon. Quality products are used in every step of the process, and this is evident in the final product.
There are private imports of bold and inexpensive wines on the beverage side.
After seven years, this pub still provides its customers with a nice atmosphere. Philemon, thank you so much.

When you sit down at Caffe Un Po Di Piu, you’ll feel like you’ve been transported to Italy. Olive and Gourmando own this cafe, so it’s no surprise that we enjoy everything it has to offer.
The Atelier Zébulon Perron’s exquisite interior design generates a peaceful and happy atmosphere. One of Montreal’s most gorgeous restaurants is located here.
Small meals to share are offered on the menu, and they are all excellent, fresh, and unique.
The burrata is one of our favorite cheeses. In addition, make space for sweets. Natural wines from private imports make up the wine list, which is formed entirely of Italian wines.
You’ll discover a wide variety of Italian-inspired drinks on the menu. Caffe Un Po Di Peu is a great place to go for breakfast, lunch, or supper if you’re looking for an amazing cup of coffee.

The room’s 16-foot ceilings and huge corner windows make it a standout. It has been voted one of Montreal’s most beautiful places.
You’ll find a wide variety of unique flavors and unusual combinations on the menu, as well as beautifully prepared raw and charcoal-grilled dishes.
The location is both spectacular and welcoming. The food was delicious, and the staff was friendly and helpful. It was a festive setting, too.

One of our favorite places to eat in the neighborhood since it opened is this eatery. Gourmet, sumptuous, and contemporary cuisine may be found on the menu.
Everything on this menu is a resounding triumph; there’s no place for mediocrity here. Fish, poultry and red meat (typically game) are always part of the menu in a hunting and fishing-themed restaurant.
