Hermas Gibeau opened Julep’s doors in 1932, but the enormous orange-shaped building didn’t come into existence until 1945.
Since 1966, Julep has been located at its current site on Boulevard Décarie. This is a typical fast-food menu, but the inside of this enormous orange ball-shaped building is a must-see location in Montreal.
Orange Juleps are the house specialty, but the poutine is also excellent. When it’s hot outside, Julep is open around the clock.
