In Montreal, there are hundreds of places to get french fries. Many are delicious, but others aren’t. If you live in Montreal, you know what I’m talking about.
If not, you might not be aware of how good the fries can be. We decided to come up with a list of the best places to get the best french fries in Montreal.

Despite its chain restaurant feel, Frites Alors is one of few restaurants serving authentic Belgian-style fries.
It does them credit in a dozen spots around the city; authentic Belgian frites are always crisp, pale, fried in pig fat, and served with a dollop of mayonnaise.

It’s fantastic that you can ask for a veggie patty in any of the burgers. The French fries and onion rings were delicious, and the Jack Daniels burger was excellent. Sorry, no vegan poutine here.

Wow, your heart will melt at the combination of the Black and Bleu burger (rare) with the spicy fries.
Conclusion
I was pleasantly surprised to find so many damn fine fries here in Montreal. The variety and quality of the food available here seems much better than the mediocre french fries we were served at our previous restaurants.
I hope that they’re not just doing it because of us, but it definitely helps!
